New Book: Insight Into Emptiness
June 19, 2012 by gcsanghablog
Khensur Rinpoche Jampa Tegchok is a former abbot of Sera Je monastery. He taught the FPMT Masters Program at Instituto Lama Tsongkhapa and recently devoted 2 years to the teachings on emptiness. Rinpoche was strict and did not hesitate to scold his students. His explanations were clearly presented and thorough. I think originally we were supposed to spend about 1 year on the topic, but Rinpoche decided to spend more time on it because he really wanted us to understand emptiness.
I am very pleased that Wisdom Publications is about to release Rinpoche’s teachings in a new title, “Insight Into Emptiness” edited by Ven Thubten Chodron. Now everyone can benefit from Khensur Rinpoche Jampa Tegchok’s scholarship and his ability to convey emptiness’s finer points to a Western audience.
