Our mission is to support the study and practice of Buddhism throughout the Greater Washington Metropolitan area following the tradition of His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama. We sponsor visiting masters and teachers in the lineage of Lama Tsong Khapa, the founder of the Gelugpa tradition and a teacher of the first Dalai Lama.Like all FPMT affiliates, The Guhyasamaja Center offers Dharma teachings to the public free of charge. We invite you to make financial donations to our Teaching fund to cover the costs that make our resident teacher’s classes possible. These costs include airfare, transportation, health insurance, room, board, stipends and medical care.
On average, the Center spends about $2,000 – $2,500 per month to host Gyumed Khensur Rinpoche (in 2008, transportation, room and board are being donated).
Help support this mission by making a donation either online or via mail. Thank you.
