More Dharma gems from around the web

The Buddhist Ecology Link is a website that provides an opportunity for people to share ideas and information on the connections between Buddhist practice and environmental awareness and action. They also have a mailing list you can join to receive regular newsletters. Also check out an excellent interview in the June/July 2008 issue of Mandala magazine with the website’s founder, Elaine Brook.

While you are perusing the latest issue of Mandala, you might also want to check out the excerpt on The Caves of Maratika. Maratika is the place where Padmasambhava obtained the realization of the Immortality of Life. Be sure to check out Maratika.org for more information, including an excellent photo gallery of the cave site.

For those of you who don’t already know about it, the FPMT website has a collection of links to resources about His Holiness the Dalai Lama. These links include a biography, a list of books and teachings, a link to live and recorded webcasts on His Holiness’s website, and a collection of speeches and letters. Are you interested in attending one of His Holiness’s teachings but don’t know where to find his teaching schedule? Check out his website for the teaching schedule through 2009.
