Do you have a daily meditation practice, if not, why not? If you do, what inspires you to continue practicing regularly?

  1. Yes, I have a regular meditation practice. I would like to think that I find inspiration in the fact that meditation is at the core of the Three Trainings in Buddhism (morality, meditation, wisdom) but fundamentally my day goes better when I use this time in the morning to become more aware and analyze a better path.

  2. I have a meditation practice, but it’s not regular or consistent. I suppose my biggest obstacle is laziness – I don’t like to get up early, so I don’t make extra time in the morning before I go to work. Yet if I don’t meditate first thing in the day, other things often come up to prevent me from doing it later in the day. I also don’t seem to focus as well later in the day. But I know that regular meditation allows me to have a calm and open mind, and is the way to examine and internalize dharma principles. So I practice, but I’m not a very good practitioner yet!
