(updated March 7, 2018) As of 2018, the Awakening Vajra Publications website is no longer operational. Please visit the main Awakening Vajra International website for more information about Choden Rinpoche including recordings of several teachings.
Awakening Vajra Publications has a beautiful website devoted to the teachings of His Eminence Choden Rinpoche. Includes photos, his long life prayer, audio recordings, and publications. A new book on mind training was published in December 2011 titled, “An Offering Cloud of Nectar”, translated and edited by Ian Coghlan and Voula Zarpani.
According to the publisher, it includes chapters on:
. The Eight Verses of Mind Training
. Freedom from the Four Types of Clinging
. The Practice of Tonglen, Giving and Taking
. The Three Principal Aspects of the Path
. The Practice of Extracting the Essence of Flowers
All chapters include the relevant root text with commentary by H. E. Choden Rinpoche. In particular the chapter on Extracting the Essence of Flowers contains instruction on every aspect of the practice and personal accounts.
Also of interest to all you yogis and yoginis out there, is the book “Stairway to the State of Union – Teachings on Secret Mantra”. The first chapter is a commentary to Yangchen Gawai Lodro’s “Ford of the Fortunate:An Excellent Explanation of the Principles of the Grounds and Paths of Mantra According to the Arya Tradition of the Glorious Guhyasamaja.”
The second chapter is a commentary to Losang Tenpa Dargye’s “Instructions on the Profound Path of the Six Yogas of Naropa, the Source of the Siddhi of Great Bliss.” It contains detailed presentation of every aspect of the practice, with full description
of all exercises and visualizations. In particular this chapter contains a penetrative and comprehensive exposition of the nine rounds of mixing.
Another teaching that can be pre-ordered is titled “Hundred Deities of Tushita: Abbreviated & Extensive Explanation”.
We are so fortunate to have Rinpoche’s teachings available and translated by a highly skilled pair of translators. Rejoice!
