I found out too late that the Venerable Neten Tulku Rinpoche was in town teaching at a local Vietnamese temple. Too bad! Anyway, I visited his Center Jamtse Cho Ling’s website and found some very lovely photos of him and also many of Gyumed Kensur Rinpoche Losang Jampa, one of his teachers.
From his website: “There were sixteen renowned Arhats in India. Neten Rinpoche’s lineage can be traced back to the 11th Arhat, named Lam Tran Ten (Sanskrit name ChudaPantaka), who was reborn many times as a Mahasiddha Bodhisattva, in both India and Tibet. Today this Master Teacher of the Dharma is known as His Eminence Tulku Neten Rinpoche Tenzin Gelek and is recognized as the Lama and Abbot of the Jungpa Monastery in Tibet, the Jam Tse Cho Ling Dharma Centre in Toronto and the Jam Tse Cho Ling Tibetan Buddhist Temple in Calgary, Canada.” Rinpoche studied at Sera Mey and also at Gyumed.
