Medicine Buddha Puja Led by the Abbot of Sera Mey Monastery, India, Khensur Rinpoche Ngawang Jordan
Come and listen as the monks chant the names and mantras of the seven Medicine Buddhas who are said to have long ago vowed and dedicated so that whoever hears such pujas will receive healing and blessings to benefit this and future lives. The Medicine Buddha puja is commonly done to heal physical and mental difficulties and also to bring success, overcome obstacles, and bring good future rebirths, as well. Ultimately, its purpose is to bring about an increase in compassion and wisdom within, helping one to attain the ultimate healing of full enlightenment.
