Deer Park Buddhist Center Summer Courses with Jangtse Choje Rinpoche 2015

Well, this year I will not be able to make it to these teachings, unfortunately. But I am posting this hoping that you will be able to attend. Jangtse Choje Rinpoche is one of the few remaining precious masters from Tibet who still travel to America to teach, he was a student of Geshe Sopa Rinpoche.

August 1st, Saturday at 9:30 AM: Palden Lhamo Jenang (Permission to Practice)

Palden Lhamo is the protector deity of Tibet and has a special connection with the Dalai Lamas.  She is a wrathful manifestation who demolishes evil and protects the Buddha Dharma.  She protects practitioners from negativity and obstacles.

White Tara is the manifestation of the enlightened activity of the Buddhas who responds quickly to the prayers of those who supplicate her with faith.  White Tara is especially powerful in helping practitioners purify negativities and remove obstacles to a long life and to accumulate merit to sustain a long life.

All are welcome to these events.  Participation in these events may entail a commitment to recite the mantra of the specific deity. Attendance at these events is not required for Summer Course attendees.
