Lama Zopa Rinpoche says that every second of our human life is more precious than skies of wish-granting jewels. It is particularly in developing a deep awareness and appreciation of the fleeting nature of our life that we understand the importance of transforming those moments into causes for our own spiritual growth and development. Similarly by learning how the process of rebirth works, what we can expect during the death process, and what factors contribute to being able to make spiritual progress in future lives we lessen our fear of death and are able to live our lives to the fullest, confident in our ability to die with peace in our hearts.
In this one day seminar, Ven. Amy will lead us through meditations, reflections and teachings that present the wisdom of Tibetan Buddhism as it relates not only to our own death but also how to be of the greatest benefit to our friends and loved ones who are dying or have died. This class is suitable for all levels of spiritual practitioner.
