With the change of administration, this is a really important year to participate in Tibet Lobby Day. I’ve gone in the past, and it’s definitely worthwhile. It’s helpful for non-Tibetans to show their support for Tibet by attending Lobby Day so our political leadership knows that Tibet matters to us all.
On March 27 and 28, 2017, Tibetan-Americans and friends of Tibet are invited to Washington, DC for the Ninth Annual Tibet Lobby Day.
This event is a collaboration of Tibet Support Groups and Tibetan Associations in the United States. There will be a training session on March 26th and it is recommended that participants attend, especially first time participants. The International Campaign for Tibet (ICT) will help set up meetings for all participants with their Members of Congress.
For more information, please contact your local Tibet group or contact the International Campaign for Tibet (ICT) advocacy team at firstname.lastname@example.org or ICT at (202) 785-1515.
