The Guhyasamaja Center is a community of spiritual friends in the Washington DC metro area dedicated to the practice of Tibetan Buddhism. The center was established in 1994 under the spiritual direction of Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche as part of the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT), an international non-profit organization founded in 1975 by Lama Thubten Yeshe, a Tibetan Buddhist monk. To learn more, please visit our website. Recordings of many of our teachings and special pujas are available on the Center’s YouTube channel.

I would like to get more information on the 6 session
Guru yoga practice. Are any of the prayers on the web so I can read them? My practice time is limited during some days and I don’t want to start a commitment I cant keep. If the short form is ok for those periods I might be able to do it.
Are you up on the initiation this summer by the Dalai Lama?
I think there is a 6 session Guru Yoga commitment that comes out of it. Are there any other commitments from his empowerment?
Thanks for your help
John
John, hi! Did you see this blog post regarding the Six Session Guru yoga practice? https://guhyasamajacenter.wordpress.com/2009/04/17/six-session-guru-yoga/
It should answer most of your questions. Yes, there is a Kalachakra-specific version of the 6 session practice. It can be found in some of the Kalachakra books mentioned in my blog post “Preparing for the Kalachakra Initiation”.
Best regards.
